As is usually the case with predators for me, I was really after hogs, but this bobcat appeared. He was after some critters in the field that scattered before the video started and was slowing down as he realized he wasn't going to get them...and that is when I got him.
The shot entered the right side of the neck and exited on the left side about midway down the body. Surprisingly as compared to previous bobcat kills with SST ammo, there was no massive exit wound this time.
The scope is the Pulsar Apex XD50 thermal scope. The PiP function was very helpful on this smaller target, especially with it moving like it was. Of course, the rifle is the mighty 6.5 Grendel Pingmeister. :-)
