Someone today told me the ATF has temporarily stopped cashing checks. I don't know how to validate his claim. Does anyone know anything to suggest if true/false?

Called the public info office 3x today. No live person, have to leave a message. Still no callback. Not calling again. If I get a callback, great. If not, that's life.Comment

If the ATF stopped cashing checks, this would be HUGE news on every gun forum and in Facebook discussion groups, Quora, Reddit, etc. Has anyone heard from the thousands of suppressor and class III purchasers during the last couple of months that the ATF hasn't cashed their checks? Seen any pro-gun groups like the NRA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, or outspoken pro gun folks on YouTube talking about it? Nope.Kill a hog. Save the planet.

Yeah... I can't imagine they would stop cashing checks. Hell, they'd probably quit processing and keep cashing checks just for the interest income.
Just received word that my stamp has been received, picking up tomorrow.

That was with a delay to submit a correction (first time doing a private NFA transfer).
