And now for something completely different........

Love my Grendel! "The Big Pavelaki" sports a laser engraved Pecan stock, 6 oz Dell Taylor Trigger, Bomar/Lansing Sights. Loves Nosler 123 gr Custom Competition bullets over 26 grains of IMR 8208XBR with a Remington 7 1/2 primer.

I know it's not everyones cup of tea on this board but it's beautiful to me!

Very cool, does it recoil much?

the closed side of the trigger guard is very unique. this reminds me of a cross between a space gun, and an Mosin Nagant "Obrez" pistol. I'm betting it shoots like the prior.

San Jose native here, I still lived there when the Shark Tank went up. long since had to escape to quieter parts. Will always root for the Sharks, though.

Beautiful, with that lovely little cartridge, it should be an easy shootin' piece. What is the action ?

Looks like a sweet silhouette pistol. Very nice, and thanks for sharing.

Recoil is smooth and easy. It's an XP-100 action. It has no problem with the tiny shootoff targets at 200 meters if my eyes were younger!

Do you shoot IHMSA Silhouette with that? Several folks here in Georgia are competing with the Grendel Cartridge in matches. That is a beautiful stock....I believe it is the first Pecan Wood that I have seen.

EDIT.....My bad! I was in such a hurry to compliment you on that stock I didn't read the entire thread before I posted

Hmmm, does it need a Muzzle brake, or a suppressor to make it more manageable for most shooters?
A video of shooting it at the range would be awesome.

                        Beautiful gun.

                        Southern hemisphere ?

I'll try and post a vid this weekend. I have arthritis in wrists and feel no need for muzzle brake.

Not my cup of tea, but I can surely appreciate it!

                            Very nice, congrats!

PS-your screen name makes me giggle. Reminds me of a joke an old friend told a boss and got fired over. He was new to the job and the boss was busting put-down jokes on everyone. Apparently the boss couldn't take his own medicine. My friend told him he had dunlap syndrome. The boss said "what's that?" My friend told him "your belly done lapped over your belt".... the boss followed up with, "you done lapped yourself out of a job." Sure enough, he had is final paycheck at the end of the day.....
