    My First Grendel

Build this upper for an upcoming hog hunt. Only had time to run 40 rounds through it to set the gas block and sight in at 50 yds.

Groups about .5", which I was happy with considering a new barrel and factory Hornady 123gr SST's. Avg velocity was 2495.

Elander 17 rd mags worked flawlessly. Also my first time using a stencil to paint the grendel head on my two mags.

    Upper Specs

BCM blemished upper (not a scratch)
    Brownells nitride BCG
    Dust cover by customdustcover.com
    BCM 13" MLok Handguard
Wilson Combat Recon Tactical 18" RLG
    Odin Works tunable gas block
    Surefire Warcomp 762
Vortex Viper PST II 1-6x in a Midwest Industries qd mount

      Thanks BCHunter,

I really like the UBR and have them on all of my lowers. Presets are nice.

Those stencil really turned out good, really sharp looking rifle. The piggies are going to regret meeting Mr. Grendel.

Thanks VASCAR2. I didn't get a good seal on a couple of spots in the mag rib, so there were a couple bleed throughs. The pros make it look so easy.
