I am impressed with the coda rail, easy no timing attachment and solid with no flex that I can tell. Next step may be cerakote or norell's as the black just stands out a bit much in the wild, time will tell.
My son and I shot a few groups with another scope on it last week, it did better than I deserve. Top two boltfaces were my son, middle and bottom were me all factory hornady black/sst/am. gunner.

Great build! How do you like the A5? What weight buffer? Installed one the other day on my Grendel but haven't shot it yet.

ROTN, while I was taking one shot and cleaning during the recommended break-in I had this in pistol form shooting with just the bare receiver extension, had regular flash hider on it at the time and it felt really smooth. During break-in I was swapping weights around just testing the waters of the A5 system as I worked my way up from 1 tungsten to 3 and so far have settled on 2 tungsten (A5H2)at the moment. It functioned well with all the different weight combinations and never choked even when holding the pistol really loose trying to induce a function issue as I mimicked limp wrist firing. I have a couple of other Grendel's but none seem as smooth as this particular rifle, maybe it's just the current combination of parts. I have no reason not to recommend it as it likely is playing a part in how this rifle is running.

Good info. I've got an a5h1 in it, as I couldn't track down an a5h2 at a great price. I may be ok as I shoot mainly Wolf anyway.

Mine ran fine with the a5h1, just tossed the brass a bit more forward than I thought it should, I would venture to guess yours should run fine if properly gassed. I needed tungsten weights for a couple of other ones so I ordered a 3 pack for about $21 as this was just the push I needed to make that purchase. lol

That SWFA 2.5-10BDC...Where and what did you zero it at?: Ammo/Yds?

Where, Markham Park which is now closed due to Corona. 100yd zero with 3 different Hornady factory loads, Am. Gunner, ELD black and SST's which shot really well. They all shot well enough but the SST seem like they may stand out, more shooting needed.
