    Reconfigured my 16 inch

Like the title says gents. Reconfigured my 16 inch Friday night.

Dropped in a aero s-one 9 inch handguard.

New adjustable gas block and mid-length gas tube

Pulled the fixed carbine stock and buffer system and dropped in a fixed rifle stock and buffer system.

Still rocking the six8 pmags and loving them, nice having 28 rounds of wolf fmj in a polymer mag.

Still waiting on my brake to get here from AA.

Kind of doing the DMR mission now but still has the 1-6 viper pst gen2 on top for cqb and hunting.

Looking good, how does switching from carbine buffer and spring to rifle effect the feel and function on 16" MLGS?

Gas setting was the same didn't have to retune. Didn't really notice any difference in the feel.

Just got tired of the short stock and wanted to change it up.

I have a rifle buffer and jp extra power rifle spring in it now. Ordered up the taccom ultra lightweight rifle buffers and springs as well.

When they get here I will do a comparison between the jp spring, standard rifle spring and buffer to the lowmass taccom parts.

Very interesting. I thought somebody awhile back determined that Six8 mags were not usable with 6.5 G? Did you post a thread on your LWRC Six8 conversion?

Yea got a big thread about doing it. Shows how I did it as well.

Been running this setup for a few months now. Probably close too 3500 rounds of the 5 thousand plus rounds I have on this barrel is from these six8 pmags.

Do you mean the over all length?

All I did was change out the handguard and stock set up so I would say it's not much longer then it was with the magpul fixed carbine stock.

As too the over all length. I'm not sure, I would have to put a tape measure on it to be sure.

Just got the measurment for you. With the rifle stock and the muzzle brake I got for it from AA it comes out to exactly 36 3/4 inches long on the money.

Oh and it's not a new gun, just changed out some parts been rocking this rifle for probably 6 months are more already. The barrel has been in use for over a year, this is it's second set of recivers.
