I've never been impressed with the recoil impulse of a rifle while I was actually killing something, but that changed the other night when I was taking my Grendel out for hogs. To be a honest though, I had used a .308 for several weeks, and then made a quick switch to a .223 for a night...but still.
My amount of data collected is still quite small, but I hope to change that soon. So far, the initial impressions are that this rifle is just a bit softer shooting than my 18" 6.8...but it is a good pound heavier too. It swings well, and fits me extremely well with the XLR stock (although I probably wouldn't buy it again...way too much time needed to adjust it)
Specs:
Aero builders kit with R-One handguard
Wilson Combat barrel, BCG, gas block
Larue MBT-2S trigger
CMMG .30 cal SV brake (don't knock it until you've tried it)
XLR stock
