  • First Grendel!

Spent about a year researching for what I wanted. Then spent many additional months shopping for deals and finally landed to this. Should be hitting the range this weekend.

LMT lower w/ sopmod and 2-stage trigger. (Paid $450 shipped/xfer fee new).
JP-15 upper w/ their new rapid configuring handguard. (Heatsink came free with grendel).
Trijicon 3-9x40 accupoint. Standard hair w/ amber illum. (Paid $500 new!)
    AD-Recon mount.
    Vtac padded sling.
    Harris bi-pod (already laying around).
Surefire millennium tactlight (already laying around).

Sorry for the quality, did the best I could with my wife's pocket camera.

Sweet Grendel jr. I have that same barrel in black. It will shoot sub moa and get ready for some 1 inch groups at 200 yards with the right ammo. Hurry up and get us a range report!

Welcome. Those JP heat sinks are pretty cool. Can you take pics of the JP bolt, maybe next to a 5.56 bolt for comparison? I read somewhere that they beefed it up, and would like to confirm. Thanks.

I would love too but my brother currently has my ar-15 so I don't have a 5.56 bolt. I can take pics of the jp grendel bolt if you would like.

                    Here you go LR.
First post by the way. Been a lurker for a long time, so howdy 'yall.

JP 6.5 Grendel is on the left, CMT 5.56 on the right.

They look like standard Grendel bolts at a glance. Thanks for the pics guys.
