Used to use TinyPic, but they went out of business. So now I use this, which is free and fairly easy:
Provides free image upload and hosting integration for forums. Free picture hosting and photo sharing for websites and blogs.
Once the pictures are uploaded to that hosting site, to embed into a thread just use the syntax of
[img]URLtoTHEimageHERE[/img]
i.e.
4x P100

The forum restricts the file size permitted to be directly uploaded from your computer, tablet or phone to small size pictures. I use a free web hosting site to post my pictures where I select the size of the picture. I use Flickr and put a BBC code in the narrative which is basically a hot link to the hosting site. When you click on your post the photos appear. Imgur, Postit and Flickr are frequently used photo web hosting sites by forum members.
