Yeah we're a little spoiled with the long range shooting around here I typically shoot anywhere from 3500-4500' ASL, but I also shoot above 6000' quite often. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes.
Probably the single best day of shooting I had was a few years ago at around 4300', but it was right after (like 20 minutes after...we had to wait out the storm) a violent thunderstorm blew through the area. Pressure was really low, absolutely no wind at any of the flags between 100 and 1000 yards...the absolute perfect day. That's the day I printed my 3.5" 3shot group at 960 yards with the Grendel
