    Oil in Barrel Affects Accuracy

So today i went to the range to try out a sprinco red buffer spring and check function. Noticed groups were huge for my rifle at 100yds (3+ inch with hornady AG & 6+ inch with Wolf). the last groups shot with this rifle were 2 sequential 3rd groups ~.5". After the last range trip i lubed the BCG and I normally store the rifle muzzle down. I figured that the excessive oil on the bolt got into the chamber / barrel and may be causing my grouping issues so i ran a couple of dry patches through. next shot was 1 - 1.5" higher than POA (fouling shot) then the next 3 rds grouped ~1". I then shot 2 more sequential 3 round groups around .6".

I think i found my problem, just sharing in case someone else is having similar issues.

AA 16" lite barrel. MLGS, ADM H2 Buffer, Sprinco Red, non-adjustable gas, BCM PNT trigger, AA hard use bolt...

Yep oil in any gun barrel is a bad thing.

Not only does it destroy accuracy it increases pressure as well.
