  • Tight fit/ slight tolerance stacking with Hard use Bolt and Chromed carrier

Hey if anyone runs into this, do not despair, I installed a hard use bolt and the brand new carrier the other day and it was hard to chamber stripping from a mag, it was even tight single feeding it then letting the charging handle fly.

After a few minutes of struggling and 5 shots it is still very stiff but will now strip a round and the bolt locks.

All that is needed is a little break in and firing is the best way to do that.

I am using FogLube and it really is nice, easier to clean as you go on as well, it embeds into the metal making it maintain some lubrosity and keeping the surfaces from having carbon stick as much.

Not really a problem overall but something for people to know so that they do not think there is something grossly wrong.

These new AA carriers are VERY nice!

I also used a chromed bolt cam as well.
Working...
