My older 18" AA Grendel build would only squeak out 1 and1/2 inch with 1 and 3/4 inch groups being the average for me at 100 yards. After pulling the barrel off and squaring the upper receiver as LRRP52 had recommended, it now shoots sub MOA with my same favorite load. This was done with a stock AR trigger which I now will replace with a match in the near future. I had squared most of my uppers in the past but this was the most dramatic change in accuracy I have experienced so far. I employed stokes recommendation with keeping the recoil straight on my rest and I couldn't be happier. I would like to thank everybody who contributes advice on this forum. Your knowledge has improved my builds and shooting. Great Forum
