Good info, wheelguner. You do realize, though, that we have to deduct points for violating the first rule of manly behavior. (1. Men shall NOT read directions or ask for them. Period.)
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

rd, when you get that punch, don't push the pin all the way out- just enuff to disassemble it all. Then check for a burr in the actual ejector hole, after spring is removed- - I have an AA unit also- from 2008--- it had the burr from hell inside it-- we hand -vise grip- twisted the proper-by exact fit- drill bit into the hole to remove it. Yikes on QC on those bolts!

My gun ran same as yours before we did this.

          We meaning my gunsmith & I .

Whilst there-- cut off 1.5 coils of ejector spring- & polish - Heavily the rt. side of ejector-where it meets the cartridge brass's base- think dremel tool on low- felt tip- polishing paste- then Ask LR 52 of gas port size check- to be sure, after all the other items have been crossed off the lists from the beginning posts here. Lot's to check, to get this up & running smoothly ..

It's a labor of love gun sometimes- don't give up- plenty of knowledge on here-ask the horde, the Horde comes Alive ! We help our fellow brethren, as they would help us in times of need. We are all in this together. We have a TRUE TEAM MENTALITY HERE.

Yesterday i got a smith to knock out the ejector pin. Didn't find any debris in there. While it is broken down i am going to make the tuning adjustments suggested here.

One thing i have noticed is the powder residue on some of the fired cases. I did find two of the gas ring gaps lined up together not staggered. Would this contribute to the issues i am seeing?

After hunting season i will be changing the the handguards to free floaters. Some on the forum have corrected erratic groups by doing that.

I appreciate everyone's help. This is helpng me learn these guns.
