My barrel has a max COL of 2.070
    with the 75 v-max and 2.278 with 108 ELDs.
I think it's shorter to jam Berger vld's at mag length.
    I think I'm going to try the 75 v-max
at 2.060 with XBR looking for a varmint load.
I can't believe someone like hornady hasn't made one since there isn't any 6mm factory AR's available.

There are some barrel makers offering 6mmAR barrels now.....the McGowen version is simply called the 6mm Grendel. I do not, however see a .224 caliber version yet.

With the popularity of the Grendel being what it is it's only a matter of time before someone takes the leap.

Tried some 75 grain v-max's over xbr 8208 with cci 450 primers.
Got half inch groups at 29.2 grains and didn't go any higher.
Shot an 8 shot group that went .625 inch at 29.2 grains.
One 5 shot group went. 385 inch.
Didn't use the chronograph but probably over 3000 fps with 22 inch barrel.
This 6mmgrendel barrel shoots everything well it seems.
If I get another custom barrel it will be another Krieger.
