    6mm grendel dies

    Like the title says gents.

Who is the best company to see about ordering 6mm grendel dies.

I'm wanting a full length non bushing sizing die and a micro meter bullet seater die.

Barrel will be in the ar and want dedicated dies for it.

Will be useing lapua brass that was I can't have a accident and mix it up with my hornady and Starline brass I use in my 6.5 grendel's.

Barrel will be from PF, probably a bartlien this time. Going too do a 6mm grendel pistol with a 12.5 inch barrel.

Redding makes a 6AR 2 die set and can be bought from Whitley ( think it's 6AR.com) or Redding (probably). The guy no one can mention had Hornady make custom dies 6AR/Predator for him he may have some in stock but probably won't sell them unless you buy a barrel.

I just use a Redding 6.5 Grendel FL bushing die and Forester 6PPC Bench Rest Seater. Both can be had for less than the Redding 6AR 2 die set.

Yea I been trying for 3 months to get dies from him. Tired of dealing with no response.

I don't want bushing dies mixed in with ar brass.

Already use Redding bushing dies for my bolt grendels but just want a dedicated set of non bushing full length 6mm grendel dies.

I might call Redding or ch4d tommorw and see what I can shake out.

If I can't get the dies I want I will just forget about a 6mm grendel.

I hear you, reloading for multiple guns and calibers can get confusing. This season reloaded 11 matches worth of 6AR for 2 guns, both have different COAL's, run different case makes and different powders. I'm seriously considering buying another 8 station press to make things easier.

Redding makes the 2 die set, go directly to the source, bet you can get them.

They may work if you were going with a 6.5AR which could be a 6.5 Grendel.

Hope so. They don't list them on their website but hopefully I can sweet talk myself into a set.

Tired of not getting responses from Mr. Whitney.

I'm sorry. I got in too big a hurry. According to some old posts CH used to make 243 lbc dies. They aren't listed now. I messaged them and if I get an answer I'll let you know.

Well looks like a 6mm grendel isn't going to happen. I'm not paying 300 bucks and having a 24 month wait time on them.

Will just keep rocking my 6.5mm grendels.

Sure is said that we can't get real 6mm grendel dies like we want.

I think if you could get 24 other people together Lee would do a set for about $80. But seems like some here don't care for Lee dies. A lot of people use 6mm PPC dies too.

Yea I'm not useing Lee dies for anything.

I looked at the 6ppc dies but not intrested.

I will just pass on having a 6mm grendel until someone decides to keep full length non bushing dies either in stock or made to order without having to wait 2 years for them.

It's a shame too I was looking forward to what a 12.5 6mm grendel could do on pigs.

I've run several thousand 5.56 through my Lee dies with no problems. But I'm loading for more than one rifle with a couple of generic loads.

You're giving up way too easy.
A 6.5 Grendel with a .266 bushing is a 6Grendel/AR die. The Grendel has it roots in the 6PPC cartridge, so a 6PPC seater works just fine.
Go for it, no excuses if you really want a 6Grendel.

I do not want bushing dies. I love bushing dies in my bolt action, in my ar I want non bushing full length sizing dies and microseater.

                              And I want dedicated dies.

I can't get them so I'm out. Will just keep building 6.5mm grendels.
