  • For anyone wanting to use 7.62x39 brass with 264LBC

The 264 LBC has a tighter neck and some 7.62x39 brass might need to be neck turned to make sure you have enough room for bullet release.
Forster makes a hand held tool for this that works well and isn't very expensive.
I put the brass in a cordless drill and do around 20 at a time.
It evens up the neck thickness and usually improves accuracy.

Turned the necks on my fire formed Lapua 7.62x39 brass with my Forster neck turning tool and loaded some 95 grain Vmax's over 28 grains Viht-133.
Only shaved a little off the bottom part of the neck mainly.
They shot around .65 inch 7 shot groups from my 264LBC.
Every load I've tried shoots sub MOA.
My 264LBC and 65 Grendel is shooting half inch with 123SST's.
    Ready for woodchucks.
