Every other scope in their ET line is upwards of 600 bucks. They're all quite nice BUT, the 10x fixed power is about 200-250 street price new. Don't bother with the older 3200 Elite 10x40, make sure you get the Elite Tactical as they took features from the 4200 and 6500 lines and smushed them all together in the ET line. They put all the neato features and even Argon purging into the package but it's stupid cheap if you stay with the fixed 10x magnification.
10x40 is not a super flexible scope. Anything inside about 60 yards critter wise is going to fill the optic. The Mil-Dots have been very accurate during my ranging exercises and it shot the box well when I did that test. 80MOA of internal adjustment too. Optics are clear and bright but not perhaps as clear as a Mark-4 or a Zeiss. The reticle is etched. Rear focus worked fine. No really audible click on the turret adjustments but very positive notches and easy to read MOA markings.
It's not a Nightforce. It's not a Mark-4. It's a great basic 10x scope with mil-dots for cheap. Enjoy!
