What kind of scope mount do I need?

Yeah, that's the way I look at it. Who has ever needed more "down" on their reticle?
If it costs the same (or not much more) and you may someday try reaching out past a few hundred yards it's always worth it to go with a +moa base.
And to the post that said you can't see any difference; with a 20moa base, if the rings are 6" apart one is only about 1/32" higher than the other. Can't see it; you'd have to carefully measure to detect the difference.Last edited by Randy99CL; 10-28-2017, 12:16 AM."In any war, political or battlefield; truth is the first casualty."

I personally use 20 MOA cant on my mounts mostly though, but my focus is more on banging steel plates at distance, with hunting coming a distant 2nd behind that.
We have longer average distances where I live, so things within 600yds are just not much of a challenge to hit unless you go below a 2 MOA target.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO
