    TacStar Carbon Fiber Handguard

Anyone have one of these? https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.c...&currentpage=1

    Any reports on them?

    Can you Cerakote carbon fiber?

I'm thinking about this for my 12"GB pistol build. I'm thinking an ultra light handguard will help balance some of weight front to rear. Ill be using an SBA3 brace.

That is pretty interesting. If it is well built that is a good price for a CF handguard. I run a lot of Lancer's CF hand guards and they are amazingly light and strong. I had one on my 3 gun rifle back when I competed for 3plus years and it is still going strong.

I may have to check this one out as well.

Apparently uses a standard barrel nut and clamps on. That's the part I'm not sure about. I guess with a little LocTite it might be ok.

To answer at least one question, yes, you can cerakote carbon fiber. The actual process, I cannot comment on, but structurally it will not affect anything.
