Leaning towards one of these (Primary Arms 2.5X Compact AR15 Scope with Patented CQB ACSS Reticle) for an optic...however, there is no info on how they line up with the grendel...any suggestions?

Personally there is too many variables in shooting for me to think a reticle will line up with my load and barrel length.
But I do hear good things about the primary scopes. -

The 6.5 Grendel Trajectory with 123 grain bullets is pretty close to 168 SMK out of a 308. A ballistic calculator will give the info to decide which is better for the 6.5 Grendel. I have a Vortex Strike Eagle with 1-6 on my 12? 6.5 Grendel pistol. I did a range card I carry in my gun case for which stadia line gives approximate distance with 123 grain ELD-M.Comment

I had the .308 ACSS 3x18 on my 18" grendel until recently (ended up putting a Gibbz side charger on it to cut down on blowback). It was decent as far as I could tell using the strelok app and shooting out to 100 yds. I wasn't able to go further out due to the range closing off 200 yds over the summer and ended up swapping the ACSS over to my .308 gun after changing out the receiver on the Grendel. How far out are you trying to shoot with it?Comment

I hear ya...if anything, I can always buy a good 'ol fashioned 3x9 German reticle and figure it out the old fashioned way...Kentucky windage and trial and error for drop... Probably will build another upper in .556, so it will not go to waste...Comment
