Just in case some of you are looking for a rock solid upper for your upcoming Lilja build, these are available again. Good price, $134, at Rainer Arms.
These upper receivers actually take a special installation step. The upper needs heated to make the metal expand around the barrel extension, then insert the barrel. They (Mega Arms) say the tight fit is to keep the harmonics down. This is the same upper AA uses on there R-GSR Siper Rifle except there's is a side charge. Mega makes them too but there out of stock. And you need a Side Charge Bolt Carrier and can't seem to find any of those these days either.
