Someone tried to get a conversation started several pages ago about what optics people are going with. I ordered a leupold vx-r patrol 3-9x40. This will be my new deer gun. It'll get an AEM can if the HPA passes. If not, it'll have to settle for the YHM phantom LT.

Guys, "surprise" is an evolutionary step toward the rifling profile we first envisioned as in the first post of the Faxon 16 Group Buy I. Nothing earthshaking, but very cool nonetheless. I'll post more when dust settles a bit here. . . .

Regarding schedule, at this point not even Faxon knows. They're running wide open in both directions to keep up with their existing demand, so they'll have to work it into their production schedule. They just give you a ballpark "8-12 weeks," but everybody says that about everything! Ha!

Rest assured, however, Nathan will keep me posted and I will keep you posted so that you know exactly what I know when I know it.
