Well i finally built four of my uppers. M4E1 uppers on all four 2 group buy 20" and 2 12" and checked the headspace with PTG go, no go's and from what could see whith the bolts stripped they look like the tolerances are very tight.
A couple questions.
1 does anyone know what lube/CIC they use on these? Smells like otis CLP to me which im sure is rebranded.
2 does anyone know what the red gunk is? Theres a little bit in the ejector spring lube hole. And roll pin hole.
3 has anyone noticed there are two different extractors being utilized on these i have at least one (only stripped two so far) that has "7-2" milled into it on the inside. The other has no markings.. The "7-2" marked one seems to have alot smoother or semi gloss finish im thinking melonite like and the other unmarked one is very flat. Im thinking phoshated.

Received my bolt yesterday. Ordered it late Tuesday night, it shipped on Wednesday and received it on Saturday. That is good service. Inspected it carefully. Everything looks good. This is the last thing I needed for my build. Now I just need time to get to the range.
