If there is no unusual wear on the bolt and hasn't been shot a lot you could probably use it without issue. If I were buying a group buy barrel I'd probably buy a Group buy bolt because they are very good quality bolts for a reasonable price and I like having spares.

Very interesting barrel profile. Almost like the Ballistic Adv Hanson profile. I have seen the many warnings around here that Grendels tend to multiply, I may have to build another one with this barrel. Would love to see updates from peeps that bought this barrel with load data and grouping pics

If your going to use a suppressor I’d recommend an adjustable gas block or adjustable gas bolt carrier (Bootleg adjustable carrier). I have an 18” midlength gas Faxon Group Buy build with non adjustable gas block and it has been 100% reliable but I don’t use suppressors. Rifle length gas 18” barrels have better dwell time and are probably softer shooting than midlength gas 18” barrels. Maybe someone else would chime in.

If I were in your situation I would not use an adjustable gas block. Some people like having the ability to tune the system but I don’t think it is that big a deal unless you use a suppressor. I have two AR-15’s with adjustable gas blocks and once set I have never needed to adjust them but I don’t have suppressors. Where I live suppressors are illegal, really no wrong answer mainly personal choice.
