I will say... I was very, very late to the .308 crowd.... I never loved the round.

But with ammo prices, I purchased and I am very happy with my gun and its performance.

You can order a new .308 WIN headspace go gauge for $40.00 from Dave Manson Precision Reamers February 2022 catalog. They don't sell online via the internet, so you'll have to call them to order one. This is where I get my headspace gauges.
