Happy 4th! I know what it means for us - if we were still ruled by the Brits, we wouldn't be allowed to walk down the street with a pocket knife in our pockets!
    Let's go Brandon!

Sadly our resident troll serms to be unable to enjoy the spirit of the day but instead insists on ridiculing simple typographical errors.

Happy independence day Stan, JASmith and everybody else. Being able to disagree and speak freely means we still live in a free nation that so many others gave the ultimate sacrifice for. May we never let it slip through our fingers.

Happy 4th to everyone! Especially those who served so the rest of us could enjoy freedom

We could also be put into prison for expressing an opinion which the government deems illegal. American citizens should think about that when they think things like that could never happen here or our Constitution is out dated.

From others, that might be a reasonable statement, and probably worth a chuckle at one's expense.

The quoted sentiment, however, is at odds with your normal online behavior.

Happy 5th of Jul(k)y. Pretty sure we all know what was intended, in both cases, and all felt the heartwarming gratitude toward celebrating our national freedom.

My favorite meme on FB yesterday was one that showed Washington crossing the Delaware with a script that said "Have fun at work today, England."
