I would bet that a few on here knew or remember him, I personally did not but am a Vietnam era vet (SSBN) who appreciates what he and the whole Spl Ops community has done for our country. RIP Commander.

I read Rogue Warrior in the '90s. It was one of the early looks into what the SEALs were about. One fact I remember: for a while the SEALs used Ruger .357 magnum revolvers because they were one of the few weapons that could be had in stainless steel at the time. They used playing cards as targets because they are roughly the size of the sinus cavity. Godspeed.
