Brenton USA Long Load LL-2 Magazine, 6.5 Grendel

First time seeing this brand Grendel magazine. Has anyone used these? Impressions? From Description: "Interior dimensions measure a generous 2.315 +/- .002 which allows for longer bullet seating." Comments on cost ....

Check out the deal on Brenton USA Long Load LL-2 Magazine, 6.5 Grendel at MGW

There are common mags that will get you to 2.290 or so. Most of the time you would not need an extra .0025 but if you tested a load single shot at the 2.290 to 2.315 length and it was awesome this mag seems like a winner. Price is not bad as you would probably only buy one or two.

I checked all 10 of my Grendel/6mm ARC mags. No matter the brand & capacity, 9 of them are 2.29 +/- .001. One Duramag is 2.310. I've been starting my bullet seating at 2.26 for all bullets & then adjust from there.

Mag looks exactly like an asc mag with different floor plate. What I do like about it is the limit block making the 15rd magazine into a 5rd crappyfornia "compliant" mag so should be ok to order (in theory)

Internal dimension of my asc mags on the small side all exceed 2.3"

          It's a 5 round magazine for $30.

          Yea.

I can run 5 rounds of Grrendel in a .223 mag and it'll work.

the removable block makes it convertible to what looks like 15. useless to most, appealing to those in more restrictive states.
