Finally Got My Grendel

Hello All,
I have wanted a 6.5 Grendel since I first learned about the cartridge back in 2011. A local distributor was selling barrels at a discount after a flood. Barrel were supposedly 100% functionally with minor blemish damage so I figured why not build one finally. Gun is as follows...

JP Single stage trigger
Black Rain Ordinance Adjustable gas block
JSE Surplus 20" Bull Barrel and Bolt

Thanks all for the nice compliments. Birddog I do like the stock. I have a .308 with a Bell & Carlson tactical stock and that thing feels like it was made specially for me. I am really comfortable with it. I have not found that same comfort with the Magpul PRS stock yet. As I get more time behind the rifle I am sure that will change.

65Whelen my range trips have been disappointing to date. I only have 40 rounds down the tube so far but have not averaged anywhere close to MOA. I have another 20 rounds of factory Hornady ammo and hopefully I will start to have better results after I work up a tailored load.

I finally received my 6.5 Grendel from AA. I will get to the range soon to start enjoying what everyone is talking about. I bought some wolf ammo just for plinking but will be shooting Hornady in the future. AA took over 2 months to send my upper. I live in Colorado and for some unknown reason did not send the 10-round magazine that came with the upper. I sent an email and called them, I am waiting for their response.
