Just built me a grendal upper and figured I need to join this forum to get some good information on issues that may arise . Looks like some smart people are on here . I love the challenge of long distance shooting and think the Grendel will be a blast to shoot at 800 plus yards . The upper parts I went with are : lilja 23" barrel, Vltor upper, JP 15"mkIII forearm, JP adjustable gas block . Just sited it in and I'm very impressed. 20mph winds on a shaky table and was getting 1"moa @100yds.

You can not go wrong with a 6.5 Grendel in an AR15 package, but you started at a very respectable rifle!

Welcome there are a bunch of smart folk here, unfortunately I ain't one of them but am trying to learn. Sounds like you got some quality stuff and a bit of skill yourself.
