From Texas! Trying to gain a little knowledge before making the leap to 6.5G. Currently shooting 77gr Black Hills 5.56 with promising results. But in the long run I will want a bigger hammer in my AR. Any recommendations for a upper for my Colt M4 would be appreciated.

Lol, I read the thread topic and thought “Texas”. Maybe cause I’m heading to south Texas in the morning.

I use to be a buy not build guy. I finally assembled an upper and lower and there really is nothing to it.

If you want to buy, I’m a Precision Firearms and Alexander Arms fan boy. Good products that they stand behind just don’t get in a hurry

There was a good deal on a 16” Lilja barreled PF lower in the for sale section of the forum. I was/am tempted but I just don’t need another.
