I'm jumping in neck deep with the 6.5 Grendel. I ordered 3 complete uppers from Bear Creek for my 3 boys...(boys???...39, 37, 34) for Christmas. 20" SS heavy barrel. We all have AR15 in 5.56/.223 so now another caliber with the same lower. These will be used for competition between us and maybe a little deer hunting. Where we live in Mississippi 90% of our shots will be under 200 yds. Two of my sons do not have anything other to hunt deer with, they usually borrow one of my other rifles.
Looking forward to getting these in and seeing what ammo they like the best!
