Recently got this 20" upper from PSA and I'm looking forward to shooting it as soon as I get a scope. I've reloaded for .223 and .308 for about twenty years and I'm looking forward to working up a load that shoots good in this, but for now I'll probably just shoot factory loads. I had considered the creedmoor but since I had a complete AR lower with nothing to put on it I decided on the grendel. Anyway just wanted to stop in and say hey.

Welcome aboard. Since you reload, check out the 6.5 Grendel Handbooks.
They will get you off to a great start well ahead of trying to figure out everything from scratch, as they have a ton of info on component selection, dies, shell holders, different types of brass, primer selection, rifle set-up, terminal ballistics, gas system length considerations, and hundreds of samples of load data.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO
