Hey all,
I'm new here, but have been lurking for a little bit. My name is Matt and while I'm not new to the AR platform, I am new to the 6.5 caliber. I have a couple builds in the safe including a 10.5 "pistol" and am currently building another one for the girlfriend that is made specifically to be obnoxious and spit fire. She and I will be building her "pistol" together on Thursday.
I'll be posting a little, and lurking a lot. Expect a build thread from me soon.
As for my background, I have a long history with hot rods, trucks, racing, and showing. I'm a certified welder, have some schooling in advanced composites, and currently work as a "sales and service" tech at a tire shop.
I hope to learn a lot while I'm here and if possible, meet a few members of the horde.
