New to AR builds and Grendel

Hey all! Have been a reloader for years. I'm New to AR's cause the calibers never interested me until I stumbled across the Grendel. Unfortunately my build is shut down temporarily due to a rough chamber that was severely scratching cases. But I hope to be back up and running soon.

Experiences with Faxon?

OK so I wanted to give them a chance to fix their quality control problem before I named names. However my barrel was returned in mid Feb and although I know the process could take some time I can not get them to answer a voice mail or email for an update. Any body here had this or other experience with Faxon? Issue with barrel was rough chamber that left multiple deep scratches on all cases. Have grown impatient and purchased another barrel and just got all back together and should be shooting next week.

There were a few reports of scratches on the brass from rough chambers last year. Sorry to hear your having trouble making contact. Faxon is located in the Cincinnati metro area address 11101 Adwood Dr. Cincinnati, Oh, so should be on Eastern time. I’d probably try calling around 9:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings.

Faxon is a sister company to Faxon Maching which list phone number at the same address. The owner is Bob Faxon. I’d try calling Faxon Machining if I couldn’t get an answer at Faxon Firearms. If I still had no luck I’d send a certified letter through USPS to Bob Faxon and let him know what is going on.
