I should introduce myself. 60yo Aussie. Hunted five countries and semi retired. Just bought a Howa Mini in 6.5 Grendel 'The Thinking Mans 6.5'. Been shooting feral camels in far west Queensland lately and heading for my first deer down south next year. Looking to learn more from you guys so expect some newbie questions.

Those are the best trophy pictures! Are there a lot of camels? Are they hard to sneak up on?

We need a video with sound of you shooting one.

What about water buffalo are those in your area? Can you shoot as many kangaroos as you want?

Yes. Young ones tend to be a bit fatty. Meat is very similar to beef. They are feral introduced pests and there is no law here on game utilization. They are Moose size and there are no facilities that far west so we usually only take the backstraps. Portable truck Freezer/refrigerators are reserved for beer and water ....... did I mention beer ? In winter we take Rum to sip around a camp fire.
