I notice in both pix that scope / scope mount is bridging the upper reciever and handguard. THat is a poor practice and typically reduces accuracy. THe handguard does not have a sufficiently rigid attachment to the upper receiver to do that. Otherwise, they are good looking rifles.

hmm good to know, i guess ive never though about the mount bridging the two but makes sense. and yeah the scope mount has since been changed to the proper direction haha, that was my first build and first rifle i've owned.
I welcome any advice i can get, so heres what i have on the way. a grendelhunter 18"fluted upper, magpul PRS stock, vortex crossfireII 6-18, it will go on my POF billet lower. i will be purchasing all my ammo as i havent stepped into the reloading world just yet. so any advice on range ammo and hunting ammo would be appreciated.
