I do not know as i do not have a chronograph…… I simply worked up .3 gr until i got the best accuracy from that load. I don't have any pressure signs of any kind. I have to believe that its running above 2700 fps. and that is a WAG.

30.7gr of 8208XBR under a 100gr NBT is just .1gr under Hodgdon's listed max load for that bullet/powder combo.

From a 22", you should be at least 2700fps.

I hit 2641fps from my 16" with 30.2gr of 8208XBR with the 100gr NBT, and that's .5gr under the max load. 8208XBR does really well with 100gr class of cup and core bullets, very efficient, about the ideal burn characteristics for the Grendel case volume and shape.

I'm looking at page 83 in Volume II of the 6.5 Grendel Reloading Handbooks.

I also have good luck with 26.6gr of 10x and 95 gr vmax for a great coyote round, according to Hornady that should be running about 2600fps.
LRRP that is where I found the info is from Hodgdon web site. 30.8 should yield 47,600 psi per there data.
Thanks to all who are on the forum as there is a ton of knowledge here!!!

Well, apperantly 30.7 gr of 8208 does well inside 100 yds, but quickly went to south at 200yds, like about a 4 inch vertical string, shot off a rest, not sure what happened. It was about 70 deg mid morning light wind at my back. Back at work now, so it's gonna be awhile before I can fiddle with this load again. Not sure if I should pull all the rounds I have loaded and start over with 10x or h335. Any help from the pros would great!!
