. Purchased parts last week for Grendel build. Aero Precision M4E1 upper, Aero Precision 12" Quad rail, 18" Deadshot Barrel, Bolt/carrier combo chrome moly. Mid-length gas system, ASC 10 round mags, Lee Die set, 200 PPU brass, 200 123gr A-max.
I have extensive experience with the 6.5x55 Swede, great round. I have a Tikka T3 Sporter lefty, and as a sporter/hunting I have a Howa 22'" in 6.5x55. I have always wanted something in 6.5 in a gas gun.
I have had .308 AR10 style rifles but they weight a ton. A2 out.
