There's no doubt that she didn't understand the irony of her own statement...

David Hogg is very upset about this. He thinks it somehow violates students 1st Amendment rights. I'd make fun of him for not having a clue about the Constitution but what's the point? As he would put it, I'm just an "old ass."
      Let's go Brandon!

If you get rid of the 2nd I think the 1st and others will be taken away next. The old saying you don't know what you got till it's gone...maybe they're too young to have heard it before.

This is what students today want to make America become. They've been raised with socialist ideas that the government needs to provide everything to them and the government is this magical entity with unlimited money.

And for those interested this is what he doesn't learn in school

Indeed. What is doubly ironic is that it's highly unlikely the "see-through backpack" rule would've prevented the Parkland shooting.

              Guys:

I went to a pretty large high school in the early 1970's. It had over 5K students at the time.

The school was pretty large but it had a chain link fence around its property with only a couple of gates.

We had an ID card that we had to show at the door in order to get into the school. And, the security guy at the door would stop anyone carrying something out of the ordinary and the item would be searched.

And there were only a couple of doors that were used for entry after school had begun. And these were supervised by the school staff.

This was well before any notion that someone would go into a school and start killing people.

After as many killings in schools as we have had over the last ten years, why any school was allowing totally unrestricted entry is nothing more than total negligence.
