Vermont Legislature Passes Gun Control. Republican Governor said he will sign.

Mixed bill of traditional and trendy gun control measures since FL.

The most popular and widely respected voice in America for your gun rights, breaking 2nd Amendment news, and everything else you need to know as a gun owner...

Politicians are brilliant. Technically you should still be able to buy 28 round CPDs for your Grendel Ruger American Predator. And those evil Magpul 25 rounders for your RPR.
    Let's go Brandon!

Actually... solely for use by a lever action or bolt action long gun...

I'm no attorney, but if it can be used in a semi-auto, I'd argue that it wasn't manufactured solely for use in a bolt gun.

It is interesting that they're letting you keep your current mags. Sounds like they can't be transferred though. It would be wise to buy your kids and/or grandkids 20 or so today.

This whole thing is outta control. Death by a thousand cuts. It's looking like Republicrats are a bigger threat than the Dems. At least you know where the Dems stand.

        Doesn't say "designed" .

Magpul could designate "bolt action magazine production day" and package it for bolt guns. End round complete.

All they need to do is add: "this magazine is manufactured for bolt action and/or lever action guns."
Don't need to use the word solely - they simply state that's what it was manufactured for... they do not control how it might actually be used.

Hey guys, I'm still new here and I just came across this thread. As a 4th generation Vermonter (those of us born here still call ourselves natives), I can't tell you how sick I am over VT politics. The democrats have completely taken over the statehouse!! They have completely poisoned our state with their post modernist, socialist, politically correct, anti-gun, anti-American, pro-drug, pro-illegal immigrant, pus#y hat wearing bulls##t.

The outlook for November is not good here, we didn't get enough good R candidates in the primary's so we are going to loose even more local seats in the coming election. The gun control laws they passed will not be overturned anytime soon. I feel for the young guys who cant even buy a rifle until their 21 now, and If they do they will have to break the law to get a 30rd magazine. As you guys noted the bills were written terribly so there's a lot of grey area. I live close to NH and can buy 30rd mags at the LGS accross the border. The bumpstock ban just turned anyone who owns one into a criminal supposedly. Anyway, this is turning into a rant so I better sign off for now.

I shudder to think where we'd be today, had Clinton won the election. There's nothing more important than elections, yet most of us have grown complacent.
If the Democrats had been in power when this country was founded, we'd be the British.

We'd still be right where we are today, insofar as Federal firearms legislation is concerned, with no new laws being enacted, and no old laws being repealed.

Not that it matters. She didn't win.
