Amazon listing of firearms items it will no longer sell

If I read this right and have read this in several places I will avoid Amazon.

I deleted my wish lists and will make every effort to make purchases elsewhere. Not that hard to do.

Ammunition for pistols and rifles, including assault weapons

Notice they had to emphasize ammunition for "assault weapons" instead of just rifle ammunition. This is Psychological operations (PSYOP) 101 at it's best. Planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their emotions, motives, and objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and individuals.

Yup, the line in the sand separating gun rights opposing views is growing daily.

??? I'm no great fan of Amazon, or maybe my brain just went to sleep, but I don't think it's reading that way.
Actually I don't see much different than what they've been doing for quite a while. They haven't sold ammo for I don't know how long. Used to sell reloading brass, some types mostly Hornady... most other components, bullets, primers, powders, - I haven't seen on there.

For example, reloading gear... is permitted -->

        Quote, copied from the link.
        Examples of permitted listings
        Butt plates
Fixed stocks, with the exception of thumbhole stocks
Grip extensions that do not add capacity
        Grips designed for handguns
        Holsters
Laser sights that are properly labeled with laser strength and class
        Magazine floor plates/base plates
Magazine loaders, except for those that can accommodate the following calibers: .223/5.56; 7.62x51; 308; 7.62x39; 5.45x39
        Reloading kits and equipment
        Scopes, including:
        Night vision or infrared scopes.

agree that this doesnt appear to be a big change. That said, Amazon is run by a known leftist. If you care about that, think twice before buying there. If not, carry on.

I have never used Amazon and I guess I will keep up the practice. I will also encourage my friends that do use them to stop.

The Outerimpact scope base is still in my saved for later list as well as a recoil pad and a few riflescopes.
You can buy this right now.

It looks like nothing has changed just a press release to satisfy the masses.

mdram, I guess this list might have expanded... but except for a scope or 2 in the past, couple of scope bases, and some brass 'way back, I'm not really shopping Amazon for shooting.

I started doing far less with Amazon when they charged me sales tax on a couple items.
If the Democrats had been in power when this country was founded, we'd be the British.

Jeff Bezos is the 100% owner of the leftist ragsheet Washington Post.

It should also be noted that Carlos Slim, the richest man in Mexico who has an extremely vested interest in maintaining the status quo, is a major stakeholder in the New York Times. Mr. Slim's cartels would benefit greatly from "common sense gun control" since they would likely gain control of gun running across our porous southern border.

I am sorry, but were any of y'all buying a lot of gun stuff from Amazon before this?? From the sounds of it, you were not. So this won't impact you anyway. As noted above, there really isn't any significant change to what they have been doing all along anyway.
