Gunbroker app deleted from Android play store

I just upgraded my cell phone and the Gunbroker app did not transfer to my new phone.

It was not on the play store but I found it elsewhere on the internet as an APK.

I set my phone to install it from unknown sources and installed it OK so Google did not block it from installing. Probably their next move.

Add Google to the list of unfriendly companies. I don't know if it is available on the Apple store.

I see Gun Swipe (classifieds), Gun.Deals and Gun Search (Armslist) but not Gunbroker.

Apple and Google deleted it from their stores at the same time. And the app does violate their policies in regards to firearms sales.

However, they can't block people from installing apps from outside of the store(at least on Android).

Seems like someone tech-savvy should set up a "gunweb" similar to dark web... where stuff not necessarily Google/FB et al cannot be blocked. Just would need some security or non-malware supervision on it. Just a random thought.
Or you could find the stuff via duckduckgo or non-google search engine.

What are you using to access the internet which does not give revenue to lefty tech?

For my personal computers I use Linux, LibreOffice and Firefox. That is really more because I'm cheap and take old hand-me-down laptops, wipe them out and use the free stuff. Gunbroker works fine with Linux and Firefox BTW.
