    Texas Moving towards Constitutional Carry

    From my GOA emails

CSHB 1927 by Schaefer passed Second Reading yesterday with an 84-56 vote, and it passed Third Reading today with an 87-58 vote.
Now it will move on to the Senate.
Yesterday (4/89/21, the Senate State Affairs Committee voted to move forward
SB 513 by Hall, one of the strongest Second Amendment Sanctuary bills.

Dan Patrick is in news this evening saying there aren't enough votes in the Senate to pass the bill. Republicans hold the Senate 18 to 13, but apparently there are some Rep senators not in favor of constitutional carry. No names named as of yet.

Dan Patrick doesn't want it and attempting to kill it.

I wonder why. Not that I ever looked, but I would have suspected Dan Patrick would have been the type who would have had an A+ rating from the NRA.
