    The Reality of the Left

    Guys:

Just something that may re-focus folks.

Ever since the 1968 gun control act, the left has been very verbal about their desire to ban all firearms. So, what you see coming out of the likes of Boxer and Shumer is nothing new to folks who have been attuned to this stuff for a while.

There is a subtle difference between Obama and the Boxer types. Obama follows a real radical form of socialism called Liberation Theology. Liberation Theology has tried to set Latin America on fire for years with ultra left radical priests inciting violence and riot in attempts to overthrow various governments and establish a pretty harsh Marxist form of government in their place.

The Boxers and Shumers are different. They are legacy leftists from the 60's who believe they are being kind by running your life. Paternalism more so than violent leftism.

Both want to ban all guns from the public because of a number of reasons but the primary one is that to them, a unarmed public is easier to control. There is no conspiracy here. They have never hidden their intent. Boxer herself has stated over and over that registration is only a first step towards confiscation.

If you are not a NRA member or a member of a strong pro Second Amendment organization -- you best join the one of your choice. And, you better get involved by writing your elected officials as a minimum. If you are really involved, get involved in the political scene by working for someone who is pro Constitution.

No conspiracies involved here. This stuff has been out in the open for forty or more years.

Lenin himself said that the best way to bring about change was to agitate the radical (useful idiots), then contrast yourself to them as a progressive who is more reasonable.

The paternalists behave as the reasonable actors, while further agitating the radicals, so that the direction is more socialism either way.
