To add to this I use CMC 3.5 flat single stage in all my AR 15s. I like single stage only for the trigger squeeze.

What is the technical argument in favor of flat triggers?

Conversely, what is the technical argument in favor of curved triggers?

I’ve never tried a flat trigger. If someone will send me one I will be happy to test it out and post my findings

4 Larue MBT-2s in my lowers, all four flat face, just happen to fit my grip prefect with large back strap on MIAD grip...most of my bolts have 2 stage, so that's what I prefer

                      I had posted I prefer curved triggers.But,I have a couple single stage 3lb POF straight triggers on 2 of my .223 ARs.They came w/anti rotations pins.I got a deal I couldn’t pass up.They work very well.So,well,that when a I’m shooting,I forget they are straight.

The most common argument I hear in favor of straight bow triggers is that they promote a more linear pull. When I shot 3 position, I had a straight trigger with a canted finger pad on the rifle. It’s the nicest trigger I’ve ever owned. I’ve come to learn that I prefer a broad, flat face on any trigger. Whether it is straight or curved doesn’t really matter to me.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is final.

I’ve found that hunting in cold weather the straight trigger afforded me a little more room inside of the trigger guard when using gloves. The M4E1 with a straight trigger has more room in the trigger guard than any bolt action or lever action rifle I’ve owned.
