New to the Grendel world and need advice.

I have a lower unit from AeroTech Industries and an upper off a S&W M/P, that works well together. I'd like to move to a larger caliber for deer/ hog hunting and like the looks and reviews of the 6.5. Will a 6.5 Grendel Upper work on my lower unit??

WOW!!! Thanks for the quick response guys!!! I so look forward to getting started on finding a good upper. I figure I have a Nikon 4.5-14 mil dot that'll due to trick for glass. I don't reload YET, so any advice on factory loads for 1-300 yrd venison poppers would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, that's what my Dad (God rest his soul) used to say about an old Winchester '06 he had.

I was going to go with a 6.8 SPC, but after reading about the 6.5G, thought this is the way to go.

Same here, Initially I wanted an AR10/308, then wanted something lighter so considered the 6.8, until learning about the 6.5G. Its a great helpful group here, youll be happy. Trying to POP a coyote with mine

Definitely the way to go. I had a 6.8 spc and after I researched the 6.5 I immediately sold it and built my Grendel
