Will,
I got the Savage Model 16 Weather Warrior in .243 Winchester. The idea is to do a Grendel wildcat coordinated with one or two others to both minimize costs and to have folks to bounce things off of.
Currently waiting for them to feel comfortable about moving forward.
In the meantime, I expect to have fun with the .243!
