I usually go to Skyline (just west of Scottsboro) almost every Saturday. It's nice for a public range but limited to 200 yds. I go early to avoid the crowds, crazies and careless.
It's a beautiful drive through Paint Rock Valley,,,about 35 miles (45 minutes) from my house...
